Pansy Boland Baker, 78, a of Glen St. Mary died Friday August 19, 2011 at the
Kindred Hospital Green Cove Springs following an extended illness. Mrs. Baker
was born in Chipley, Florida to Charles H. and Irma Bush Boland. She was a resident
of Baker County for the past 46 years.
She loved to sew for cheerleaders, majorettes and all types of dresses
including wedding gowns and prom dresses. She was a loving wife, mother
and grandmother and a member of the First Baptist Church of Macclenny. She
was preceded in death by grandson Christopher Bland.
Survivors include husband of 56 years, Nathan Baker of Glen; daughter Tina Mobley
of Macclenny and son Aaron (Carol) Baker of Baldwin; sisters Violet Skipper
of Chipley and Genola Shelly of Tallahassee; brother Charles Boland Jr.
of Milledgeville, GA; grandchildren Celeste Baker, Jennifer Cribb, Joseph
Bland and Jesselyn Mobley; three great-grandchildren.
The funeral service was held August 22 at her church with Dr. Edsell
Bone officiating.
Guerry Funeral Home in Macclenny was in charge of arrangements.
Brady, Tony, retired sergeant

Tony Dwight Brady, 63, of Lake Butler died August 18, 2011 at North Florida
Regional Medical Center in Gainesville after an extended illness. Mr. Brady was
born in Macclenny and lived in Lake Butler the past 22 years. He retired as
an officer with the Department of Corrections in Lake Butler after 30 years
and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents James
and Ethel Starling Brady and brother Tom Brady.
Survivors include his wife of 33 years, Sharon Yarbrough Brady of Lake
Butler; daughters Erin Brady (Dennis) Jackson of Madisonville, TX and Tonya
Adams; sister Marlene (Mike) McCray of Lake City; grandchildren Braden and
Landen Jackson; Sonya, Sasha, Amy, and Daniel Schmalried.
The funeral service was held on August 21 in the Chapel of Archer Funeral
Home of Lake Butler with Bro. Scott Fisher officiating.
