About Baker County

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Baker County, Florida has a total land area of 588.89

square miles and is mostly rural in nature. It has a year around population of about 27,115.
The extreme northern part of the county lies within the Okefenokee Swamp and its federally protected areas.
There are so many other websites that give information about Baker County, that rather than repeat all that
has gone before, this site will be a clearing house of information of a genealogical interest.
